What is Chiropody/Podiatry?

What is the difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist? There really is no difference. The term chiropody has been traditionally used in the UK for many years, whereas podiatry is recognised internationally.

The titles Chiropodist and Podiatrist are protected under the Health Professions Order 2001 and it is a criminal offence to use either title unless you are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. 



Our Podiatrists are all registered with the Health and Care Professions Council .
